By booking a stay with us you agree to the T’s&C’s listed as follows, this then becomes The Contract.
The Burrows Dolassey reserve the right, at all times to refuse either a new or repeat booking without giving a detailed reason.
Prices & Payment:
The price includes accommodation plus any additional extras chosen at the time of booking. We accept the following forms of payment: Stripe Credit or Debit Card Payment, Stripe is a third party secure payment processor and a non-refundable deposit of 25% will be taken at the time of booking. We will contact you to pay the remaining balance approximately 12 weeks before your stay.
If the final payment is not paid by the due date, The Burrows reserves the right to retain your deposit and re-let the accommodation.
Bookings are deemed provisional until you receive email confirmation.
Cancellation and Insurance:
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. The deposit is non-refundable as it covers costs incurred and services provided to enable your Booking. These include, but are not limited to, marketing and PR, Owner management, booking management, credit card fees and customer service.
If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker. Once full payment has been made, you will not qualify for a refund if you wish to cancel your booking.
If you want to swap to an alternate date, then that is possible in specific personal circumstances. However, we would need to know 5 weeks in advance, at the latest, to fill the booking. An additional charge is likely to apply due to seasonality pricing.
The Burrow Dolassey reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking, without a statement of reasons at any time.
In unexceptional circumstances, and if cancelling your booking for reasons beyond our control, we would offer you alternative accommodation or an alternative date.
Amendments to bookings:
Should you wish to make a change to your confirmed booking, this is possible up to 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date. A charge of £20 is payable for any changes.
Pets are not permitted. Should this rule not be adhered to, fines may be enforced.
Check is from 4pm on the day of arrival.
Check out time is 10 am on the day of departure, you are responsible for ensuring that the key is left in the door when you leave.
Damages and Breakages:
Please take care when staying with us. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repairs if the damage or breakage is significant. We may also make an additional charge of £50 if you did not report any significant breakages.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
